Gentile grappa aged - Furlanina Mangilli - Caffo - 70cl

A smooth, delicately scented grappa made from the pomace of white grape varieties, predominantly Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Prosecco, and aged in barrels of various woods for over 12 months. On the palate, it delivers fruity and nutty aromas, complemented by a soft texture and a complex finish of zest and spice. At the 2020 edition of the World Grappa Award, the prestigious international contest celebrating the world's best beverages, in June, Furlanina Mangilli managed to earn the dual title of Best Grappa in the World and Best Aged Grappa in the World. These accolades were added to the award for the bottle design, the result of a restyling that establishes continuity with Mangilli's past production. The restyling features meticulously crafted details, such as the logo depicting both a glass and a distillation column, and the tag on the neck that, like a work of art, numbers and certifies each bottle. Since 2019, Cantine e Distillerie Mangilli has also become Gruppo Caffo: the historic Friulian winery, active since the late 19th century and renowned for its rich assortment of fine grappas and wines, has been acquired by the Calabrian company, which has been committed for years to supporting and preserving the "Made in Italy" liqueur and distilling tradition under the watchful guidance of director Nuccio Caffo. In early November, Furlanina Mangilli also won the "Silver Medal" in the "Alambicco d'Oro" award organized by Anag – Association of Grappa and Spirits Tasters.
