Promo Maddalene

Maddalene biscuits, also known as Calabrian lady's kisses, are made from two pieces of firm dough joined together by a soft vanilla filling. This specialty is made even more delicious by the chocolate icing that covers half of the biscuits, giving them a unique appearance and flavor. They're ideal for a simple snack for kids, but also a perfect afternoon treat with a cup of tea, or to offer to guests after a home-cooked lunch or dinner. Produced in the artisanal workshop at Latteria del Sole, Maddalene biscuits are also available in a zuppa inglese version.

INGREDIENTS: Biscuit: 00 flour, eggs, margarine (partially hydrogenated vegetable fat: palm, coconut; water, sunflower vegetable oil, emulsifiers: E471, salt, flavourings, acidity regulator E300), sugar, panettone flavouring, vanilla, colouring. Filling: chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, partially hydrogenated vegetable fat, coconut, palm kernel in varying proportions), whole milk powder, cocoa mass, fat-reduced cocoa powder (19.5%), emulsifier E322 (soy lecithin), flavouring: vanilla). Filling: dark sugar, margarine (May contain traces of milk), vanilla.
