A stretched-curd cheese with a smooth texture, made from fresh whole milk from cows. It has a sweet and delicate flavor that tends to become spicy with age. Certified DOP (Protected Designation of Origin), it features a thin, straw-yellow rind and relatively sparse holes. Try it with other typical Calabrian products for a tasty appetizer, or grilled or fried. Available in 1.2kg, 600g, and 300g weights.
Note: It is recommended to open the product a few hours before consumption, so that it can oxygenate and therefore acquire its original flavour.
