A stretched-curd cheese with a smooth texture, made from fresh whole milk from cows. Its sweet, delicate flavor tends to become sharp with age. Certified DOP (Protected Designation of Origin), it features a thin, straw-yellow rind and sparsely dotted with holes. Try it with other typical Calabrian products for a tasty appetizer, or grilled or fried. Available in 1.4kg or 650g pieces.
Note: It is recommended to open the product a few hours before consumption, so that it can oxygenate and therefore acquire its original flavour.
